Yogoda Satsanga Kanya Vidyalaya is situated in the Lakhanpur locality of Purulia district in West Bengal on national highway 60A connecting Purulia to Bankura and Durgapur. The institution was started as a residential gurukul school by Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) in 1958 with a vision to uplift all girl students deprived of proper education in this far flung remote area of West Bengal.
