Our Institution

Yogoda Satsanga Palpara Balika Vidyalaya is a premier Higher Secondary School in Purba Medinipur district under the Yogoda Satanga Society of India. The School was established in 1961 by the eminent visionary, academician and social reformer, the late Janardan Sahoo who was blessed by Sri Sri Daya Mataji, the ex-President of YSS. During that time, three schools and one college were established in this far flung rural village which transformed Palpara into a veritable educational hub.

The institution, which has consistently performed well in terms of academic results and extracurricular achievements, is run under the Special Rules granted to Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. It has adequate number of well-equipped class rooms and well trained teaching faculties. The institution offers both arts and science streams under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and has a residential hostel which can accommodate up to 250 students. Special coaching is offered to the hostel students in the morning and evening. The School is situated by the side of the Egra Bajkul Road and is easily accessible.
